Dentons Kensington Swan is pleased to present an exclusive conversation with New Zealand’s Disability Rights Commissioner, Paula Tesoriero MNZM, on what it looks like to redefine what is possible.
In her role as the Disability Rights Commissioner, Paula has a broad mandate under the Human Rights Act 1993 to protect and promote the rights of disabled New Zealanders. Paula brings real life experience to this role. She is a former lawyer and was a senior public servant for a number of years. Paula is a Paralympian cycling gold medalist and holds several sports related and governance roles including being a life trustee of the Halberg Foundation and member of the New Zealand Sports Tribunal. She was also the Chef de Mission for the NZ Paralympic team for Tokyo 2020.
Please join Dentons partner, Linda Clark, for a conversation with Paula to hear her story, the challenges she has faced, and the successes she has experienced. We are sure this will be an inspiring conversation.
