Dentons Kensington swan has advised Motor Trade Finance Ltd (MTF) on the purchase of all shares in personal loan provider, The Lending People Ltd. MTF operates as a motor vehicle finance company specialising in vehicle loans, personal loans, business loans, car leasing, insurance and other financing services, and has provided financing services to New Zealanders for over 50 years.

Its acquisition of The Lending People Limited adds to its personal loan offering within a different target market across New Zealand and Australia. The acquisition supports MTF’s growth and customer accessibility aspirations to have a unique understanding of the local economies and communities it lives and works in.
